The initial term of the contract was for three years ending on June 30, 2024. The original contract has two one-year extensions available at the discretion of the City Council. Staff is recommending the two extensions of the contract to fiscal year 2026 for an amount not to exceed $527,340 per year.

6. Discussion and Background
This contract, RFP No. 20-21.42, provides custodial services for all city facilities, excluding parks. Ultimate Maintenance Services, Inc. has performed satisfactorily in accordance with the scope of work for the initial contract. Staff recommends the first and second extensions be authorized in an amount not to exceed $527,340 per fiscal year, which includes a 2% Consumer Price Index increase and a 10% contingency.
