Request for City Council to authorize an increase of $5,000 to an existing purchase order with SiteOne Landscape Supply, bringing the total purchase order amount for Fiscal Year 2023-24 to $35,000 for commercial irrigation supplies, trees, and industry specific tools for the Community Services Department.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Community Services Department utilizes SiteOne Landscape Supply (SiteOne), an Orange based business, for commercial irrigation and landscape supplies to complete in-house landscape projects and repairs. These projects are in addition to the park maintenance contracts for general landscape maintenance. Over the last several years, SiteOne has acquired other local companies that have been patronized by the Department in the past such as Hydroscape, an irrigation supply store, and Village Nursery. As such, SiteOne has expanded its products to include commercial irrigation supplies, trees, industry specific tools, seed, fencing, and other landscape supplies. Parks staff utilize SiteOne as a one-stop shop for these supplies to increase efficiency while supporting a local business.
