The City of Villa Park and City of Orange have prepared the First Amendment to Cooperative Agreement that details each city's updated financial responsibility for the East Cerro Villa Drive Improvement project.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the First Amendment to Cooperative Agreement with the City of Villa Park establishing the revised amount of $157,110 for the East Cerro Villa Drive Improvement Project; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

The total expenditure for this First Amendment to Cooperative Agreement is $157,110 and will be funded through Measure M2:

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
On April 11, 2023, the City Council approved the Cooperative Agreement with the City of Villa Park for funding and construction of the East Cerro Villa Drive Improvement Project from Valley Drive to Rama Street. It was agreed that the City of Villa Park will cover approximately 84% of the project cost, with the remaining 16% to be paid by the City of Orange. The original total cost for the City of Orange was estimated at $100,000.
On July 31, 2024, the City of Villa Park received the actual bids which came in higher than originally estimated. The lowest bidder was R.J. Noble Company, at a total bid of $511,703. Therefore, the revised cost share for the City of Orange is $157,110. Staff is recommending tha...
