2. SUMMARY
The original agreement with Cullen & Associates aided and supported services to the Finance Director as the Interim Assistant Finance Director. That position has been filled; however, the amendment to the contract replaces the assistance and expands the contract to provide support and consulting services such as updating and enhancing policies and procedures, organizational assessments, and provide support as the Finance Department implements a new Enterprise Resource Planning system.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the First Amendment to the agreement with Cullen & Associates, Inc. in the amount of $80,000 for consulting services for a total not to exceed contract amount of $160,000; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

The expense for this amendment is $80,000 and will be funded through the General Fund (100).

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The City Council previously approved an $80,000 agreement with Cullen & Associates Inc. to provide interim assistance in the Finance Department following the retirement of the former Assistant Finance Director in February 2024. Cullen & Associates Inc. managed daily oversight, completed the Fiscal Year 2022-23 year-end audit, and other required reports. The contract expired on August 31, 2024, with $41,820 expended and a remaining balance of $38,180.
