6. Discussion and Background
The Orange Municipal Code Chapter 12.48 regarding Park Regulations was last revised in 2004. The ordinance would repeal and replace Chapter 12.48 with language to codify all relevant Director’s Orders, meet current law, revise outdated language, and address new park amenities.
The item was continued from the August 27, 2024, City Council Meeting. The City Council requested staff to revise specific language and return to a future meeting for the First Reading of Ordinance No. 24-24.
