Bids for Annual Concrete Replacement at Various Locations, Fiscal Year 2024-2025 were received and opened on January 30, 2025. Five bidders responded to the notice inviting bids. The apparent low bidder is CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. of Santa Fe Springs, California in the amount of $1,085,100.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the contract with CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,193,610, representing an original amount of $1,085,100 plus a 10% contingency of $108,510 for Annual Concrete Replacement at Various Locations, Fiscal Year 2024-2025; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

The City Council previously approved advertisement for bids on November 26, 2024. The bid solicitation was advertised on January 9, 2025, for a period of six weeks. The bids were opened on January 30, 2025. Five bidders responded as follows:
