There is no direct fiscal impact to the City. The additional revenue received from the Friends of Orange Public Library will fund the expense for these services.

6. Discussion and Background
The Friends of Orange Public Library (Friends) are donating $18,000 toward the purchase of computers, laptops, and furniture for the public at the Orange Public Library & History Center and the El Modena and Taft Branch Libraries. The Orange Public Library will publicize the Friends’ contribution in a variety of ways, including signage and credit for support on the Library’s website and social media.
