4. Fiscal Impact
There is no direct fiscal impact to the City. The additional revenue received from the Friends of Orange Public Library will fund the expense for these services.

6. Discussion and Background
The Friends of Orange Public Library (Friends) are donating $36,000 to meet various Library needs, including:
• $17,300 to provide digital resources for the public.
• $10,000 to purchase nonfiction materials for all ages for the three Library locations.
• $5,700 for programs and exhibits for all ages for the three Library locations.
• $3,000 for professional development and staff training.
The Orange Public Library will publicize the Friends’ contributions in a variety of ways, including bookplates and plaques where appropriate, and credit for programming support on the Library’s website, flyers, and social media.
