The City Council previously authorized a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (CPA) using Sourcewell as a vehicle and equipment procurement standard. This purchase is a continuation of that policy. Sourcewell and HGAC contracts are nationally solicited, competitively bid, and awarded. National Auto Fleet Group (NAF) was awarded contract No. 091521-NAF for cars, trucks, vans, sports utility vehicles, and others.

Republic EVS, LLC (REVS) was awarded contract No. AM10-23 for ambulances, light and medium EMS/rescue vehicles, mobile and urban command vehicles, and mobile command centers.

Through these cooperative agreements, pricing discounts range from 1% to 26% across 15 manufacturers, depending on the model. The total savings to the City for this purchase is 3%, resulting in a combined savings of $10,285. The total cost for this purchase is $1,339,749. The vehicle descriptions are listed below.

Therefore, staff recommends engaging with Hi Standard Automotive, LLC as a trusted vendor that offers high-quality yet cost-effective parts and has a proven track record in servicing emergency vehicles.
