2. Summary
On October 23, 2024, the Santiago Creek Commission discussed the property ownership and area map as well as the overall vision for the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan - Segment One. By establishing a vision for the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan - Segment One first, the Santiago Creek Commission created a focus and theme to guide project recommendations that will be included in the final Santiago Creek Strategic Plan. The purpose of this item is to finalize project recommendations and the vision statement for the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan - Segment One while also reviewing the area map for the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan - Segment Two and establishing a vision statement.

6. Discussion and Background
The Santiago Creek Commission (SCC) is working towards establishing a Santiago Creek Strategic Plan (Plan) that will 1) coalesce previous planning records into one document; and 2) establish a vision and set of projects delineated by segment for the City Council’s consideration.
The purpose of the January 22, 2025, SCC meeting is to:
1. Review, discuss, and establish the recommended projects for the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan - Segment One (Segment One).
2. Review the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan - Segment Two (Segment Two) map and establish a vision to guide forthcoming project recommendations for Segment Two.
Since the October 23, 2024, SCC meeting, Commissioners have had the opportunity to identify Segment One projects for consideration and discussion at the January 22, 2025, SCC meeting. Those projects submitted before the publishing of this agenda are attached to this report for review and discussion.
As the SCC continues to work through each Santiago Creek Strategic Plan Segment, for reference, provided below is the proposed schedule through calendar year 2025.
