2. SUMMARY
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, through the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, awarded funds towards the Operation Stonegarden Grant Program. The eligible allocation amount awarded to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, as the fiscal agent, is $2.7 million, of which $87,182 is allocated to the City of Orange Police Department.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
recommendation
1. Approve the agreement for Fiscal Year 2025 Operation Stonegarden in the amount of $87,182; and authorize the Chief of Police to execute on behalf of the City.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 11715. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange accepting funds in the amount of $87,182 from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department for Fiscal Year 2025 Operation Stonegarden Grant Program and authorizing the Chief of Police to execute the grant program agreement and related documents.
3. Accept into the City's Federal Grants Fund (399) revenue budget $87,182 in grant funds from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department to:

4. Authorize the appropriation of $87,182 into Federal Grants Fund (399):

4. FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact to the City. The additional revenue received from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department will fund the expense for this program.
