With the Orange Fire Department Headquarters relocating to 1176 East Chapman Avenue, the old Orange Fire Department Headquarters off S. Grand Street and Almond Avenue has been vacant for nearly three years. The purpose of this item is to discuss using the former Orange Fire Department Headquarters as a fire museum.

The old Orange Fire Department Headquarters (Old Fire HQ) off S. Grand Street and Almond Avenue has been vacant for nearly three years. The Old Fire HQ retains a centralized location that presents a significant opportunity for development that supports the City’s local economy while bolstering recreational opportunities for the community.

Overall, the intent of this item is to:

1.                     Discuss the possibility of using the Old Fire HQ as a fire museum; and

2.                     Provide direction to City staff.
