Adoption of a resolution is required by the Southern California Association of Governments certifying that funding for its future projects in the Transportation Improvement Program is available and committed.

Adopt Resolution No. 11497. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange which certifies that the City of Orange has the resources to fund the projects in the FFY 2024/25-2029/30 Transportation Improvement Program and affirms its commitment to implement all projects in the program.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is responsible for developing and submitting the Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and federal funding agencies. The FTIP is the primary means of implementing the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and includes regionally significant projects funded with state and federal funds.
The base FTIP is updated every two years, currently the 2025 FTIP covering Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2024-25 through 2029-30 is in its programing phase. SCAG requires local agencies to adopt a resolution certifying that funding for future FTIP projects is available and committed f...
