2. Summary
The Introduction and First Reading of the above-entitled Ordinance was approved at a Regular Council Meeting on January 14, 2025, with non-material changes made to Section 8.13.090, Subsection F regarding the time and date when unsold Safe and Sane Fireworks must be transported back to the Fireworks Wholesaler. The City Council also directed staff to implement signage and notification measures regarding the Safe and Sane Fireworks program as well as developing an aftermath report scheduled for the second City Council meeting in August. Both directives will be administered under Sections 8.13.030, 8.13.110, and 8.13.150 of Ordinance No. 01-25.
The Ordinance is now presented for Second Reading by title only, and adoption.
