4. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

General Plan Designation: Low Density Residential (LDR)
Zoning Classification: Single Family Residential (R-1-8)
Existing Development: Single-story residence with a low-pitched front facing gabled roof and an attached garage. The property is a contributor to the to the Fairmeadow Eichler tract.
Associated Application: None.
Previous DRC Project Review: None.
5. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The major components of this project include:
* A 164-square foot addition at the east (side) elevation of the residence towards the rear of the structure. The addition will be clad in Eichler siding and the fascia will be offset by 12 inches. There will be a 1" by 4" vertical board placed on the south and east elevations as a line of demarcation between the existing residence and the addition. There will be a a new sliding window at the east side of the elevation and a new fixed window at the south elevation. The roof of the addition will be flat and will not be rise above the existing roofline. The roof overhang will be reduced to zero to indicate between the existing residence and new addition.

* Removal of the exterior bathroom door and an original window on the east elevation and replacement with a new fixed window.
