2. SUMMARY
The Public Works Department issued a Request for Proposal for Technical Support Services for the City's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (RFP No. 24-25.22) on April 4, 2025. Two proposals were received and reviewed by City staff. South Coast Automation Systems was ranked as the top service provider.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the agreement with South Coast Automation Systems, Inc. in the amount of $225,000.00 for Technical Support Services to the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

4. FISCAL IMPACT
The expense for this agreement is $75,000.00 and will be funded through Water Fund (600):

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system provides automation necessary to monitor and control the City's drinking water system. The existing SCADA system was installed in 2021 and has been operating as intended. To ensure that the SCADA system continues to operate efficiently, the Public Works Department has requested proposals for technical support from qualified consultants.
The RFP was made available to companies on April 4, 2025. Information about the project was available on the City's website. Proposals were received from the following companies on the proposal due date of April 28, 2025:
* SoCal SCADA Solutions
* South Coast Automation Systems, Inc.
