Construction management and technical support are needed for the construction of Well 28 Equipping and Public Pocket Park Project. The additional cost proposed by Tetra Tech, Inc. for these services is a not to exceed amount of $59,800.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the Fifth Amendment to Agreement with Tetra Tech, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $59,800 for additional construction management, technical support, and landscape design services bringing total contract to $1,056,150; and authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
In 2019, the City selected Tetra Tech, Inc. to design and provide construction support services for the Well 28 and Public Park project located at 235 W. Maple Avenue. The project is being completed in 2 phases. Phase 1, which includes the drilling of the well, was completed in 2022. Phase 2 of the project includes the equipping of the well, associated structures and construction of the Public Pocket Park.
The allocated budget for reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals, requests for information (RFI), and providing structural and geotechnical observation has been exhausted while there are additional submittals and (RFI) that still need to be reviewed and approved.
