Notice of Completion and Acceptance for Hart Park Pickleball and Fitness Circuit Site Project

2. Summary
The City entered into a contract with Deark E&C, Inc. (Bid No. 24-25.05; Agreement No. 7837), to construct pickleball courts and fitness circuit, fencing, an ADA-compliant sidewalk ramp, concrete and paver pathways, asphalt drive aisle to orchard, shade structures, bike rack, bottle-filling chilled drinking fountain, benches, trash receptacles, display case, lighting, and storm drain equipment. The work has been completed in accordance with the terms of the agreement and to the satisfaction of the Community and Library Services Department.
The total approved budget for the Hart Park Pickleball and Fitness Circuit Site Project (20315) was $2,860,000.00. The awarded construction contract amount with Deark E&C, Inc., including contingencies totaled $2,351,800.00. The final construction was completed within budget at a cost of $2,279,185.58.

2. Authorize City Clerk to file Notice of Completion with the Orange County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
