Quitclaim of fire access easement at 630 North Batavia Street. The project is currently under construction, and the layout of the building footprint has been changed by the property owner. A new fire access easement will be recorded once the City approves the Quitclaim Deed.

Authorize the Mayor to execute a Quitclaim Deed of the fire access easement to Scind Batavia Point, LLC, at 630 North Batavia Street.

6.                     Discussion and Background

The existing fire access easement conflicts with the proposed building footprint at 630 North Batavia Street. The fire access easement alignment will need to be changed to accommodate the new building layout. To process a new fire access easement, the existing easement needs to be vacated back to the property owner. A new fire access easement will be recorded once the City approves the Quitclaim Deed. 

Staff recommends approval of the Quitclaim Deed of the fire access easement to Scind Batavia Point, LLC at 630 North Batavia Street to accommodate the new building layout.
