2. SUMMARY
Following a competitive Request for Proposals process, staff recommends awarding a three-year contract to Ultimate Maintenance Services, Inc. for comprehensive custodial services at City facilities, with options for two additional one-year extensions. Ultimate Maintenance was unanimously ranked first among nine proposers and submitted the lowest-priced proposal for the required scope of work. The new contract also expands services to include custodial and day porter services at the Old Towne West Parking Structure and increased custodial service frequency at the Main Library.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

1. Approve the contract with Ultimate Maintenance Services, Inc. in the amount of $1,681,774.68, representing an original proposal amount of $1,462,412.76, plus a 15% contingency of $219,361.91, for Custodial Services for City Facilities; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.
2. Authorize the appropriation of $204,353.95 from the General Fund (100) and $19,482.61 from Water (600) unreserved fund balances to:

4. FISCAL IMPACT
The annual not-to-exceed cost of the contract is $560,591.56 and will be funded through the General Fund (100) and Water Fund (600), respectively:
