The Information Technology Department utilizes many technologies, including hardware, software, and services, from Sidepath, Inc. The various technologies listed in the attached document have associated annual maintenance costs that are required to keep those technologies up to date and supported by the listed vendors.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Information Technology Department requests approval of a consolidated purchase order for annual hardware and software maintenance and support provided through Sidepath, Inc. for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. These renewals provide vendor technical support, software updates, security patches, and applicable hardware support necessary to maintain the reliability and security of the City’s technology infrastructure. Consolidating the renewals into one purchase order simplifies purchasing, support coordination, and payment processing.
The attached asset list includes support for Dell servers and storage; Palo Alto security firewalls; Ruckus network switches and wireless systems; Veeam backup and recovery software; Arctic Wolf Cylance endpoint protection; VMware virtualization software; and Wasabi cloud-based offsite backup storage.
