2. SUMMARY
This Municipal Code amendment is requested to ensure that the most current version of the "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction" (popularly known as the "Greenbook") is adopted by reference in the Orange Municipal Code.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

1. Introduce and conduct First Reading of Ordinance No. 21-24. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Orange amending Chapter 12.02 of the Orange Municipal Code to adopt the 2024 Edition of the "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction."
2. Set August 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. as the time and place for the Public Hearing to consider the Second Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 21-24; and direct the City Clerk to publish notice of the Public Hearing once a week for two successive weeks in accordance with California Government Code Section 50022.3.
