On October 22, 2025, the Santiago Creek Commission reviewed the initial draft Santiago Creek Strategic Plan, and directed staff to make select changes and adjustments to the plan. This plan incorporates those changes for the Santiago Creek’s Commission’s review.

6. Discussion and Background
In utilizing the feedback and recommended projects from prior Santiago Creek Commission meetings, staff developed the draft Santiago Creek Strategic Plan (Plan), and presented it for review at the October 22, 2025, Santiago Creek Commission meeting (SCC). At the October 22, 2025, meeting, the SCC discussed the Plan and provided staff with feedback and direction.
The Plan has been revised to incorporate the SCC’s directions. Staff recommend the SCC approve the Plan, and direct staff to place the Plan on a future Orange City Council meeting agenda for consideration.
