1. Approve the plans and specifications and authorize advertising for Bid No. 24-25.15 (SP-4295), Community Development Block Grant Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Americans with Disabilities Act Wheelchair Access Ramp Replacement.
2. Find that the proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines 15301 (Class 1(c) - Existing Facilities).

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program provides grant funds to enable eligible localities to construct public improvements in Low- and Moderate-Income Areas within their jurisdiction. Eligible activities include infrastructure upgrades such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) wheelchair access ramp replacement.
This project will include the construction of approximately 10 ADA compliant wheelchair access ramps at various locations as shown on the location map. As part of the project, detectable warning surfaces (truncated domes) will be installed per the American with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) requirements.
