Funding for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program is being awarded in the amount of $330,997.68 to augment officer education and training programs that reduce and mitigate the impacts of impaired driving.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

1. Approve the agreement with the State of California, Department of California Highway Patrol in the amount of $330,997.68 for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program; and authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 11712. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange accepting funds in the amount of $330,997.68 from the State of California Highway Patrol for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the grant program Agreement and related documents.
3. Accept into the City's General Fund (100) revenue budget $330,997.68 in grant funds from the State of California, Department of California Highway Patrol to:

4. FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact to the City. The additional revenue received from the State of California, Department of California Highway Patrol will fund the expense for this program.
