Bids for the Replacement of the Rolling Garage Doors at Fire Station 7 and Corp Yard (SP-4321) were received and opened on February 12, 2026 (Bid No. 25-26.12). Three bidders responded to the notice inviting bids. The selected responsible bidder is Owen Walstead LLC, a California limited liability company, dba U.S. Door, Inc. in the amount of $394,884.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the contract with Owen Walstead LLC, a California limited liability company, dba U.S. Door, Inc. in the amount of $394,884 representing the original amount of $358,985, plus a 10% contingency of $35,899 for Replacement of Rolling Garage Doors at Fire Station 7 and Corp Yard; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The City Council authorized the advertisement for bids on January 13, 2026. The project was publicly advertised for three weeks, and bids were opened on February 12, 2026. Three bids were received, and they are as follows:

2. Owen Walstead LLC, dba U.S. Door, Inc. - $358,985
3. National Garage Door - $386,750
