Second Reading and adoption of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Orange amending Chapter 17.44 of the Orange Municipal Code adding a new Section 17.44.210 to establish a mechanism for the transfer of development rights for purposes of creating opportunities for housing, open space, and trails. 2. Summary
The Introduction and First Reading of the above-entitled Ordinance was heard at a Regular Council Meeting on June 25, 2024. At this meeting the Council directed staff to amend the ordinance to include Sand and Gravel (S-G) zoning districts as an additional eligible Sending Area, per the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Staff also made minor non-substantive changes for clarification. A red-lined version of the ordinance is attached.
The amended Ordinance is now presented for Second Reading by title only, and adoption.
