2. SUMMARY
The carpet and flooring at Fire Stations 3, 7, and 8 are beyond their useful life and need replacement. Staff solicited proposals through the OMNIA Partners cooperative purchasing program, Contract No. 2020002150 and recommends awarding the contract to Milliken Services, LLC under OMNIA Partners Contract No. 2020002150.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the contract with Milliken Services, LLC in the total amount of $90,785, representing an original proposal amount of $82,532, plus a 10% contingency of $8,253, for carpet and flooring replacement at Fire Stations 3, 7, and 8; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The City of Orange operates several fire stations, including Stations 3, 7, and 8. Flooring at Stations 7 and 8 is original to each facility, having been installed in 1989 and 2006, respectively. Although the flooring at Station 3 was replaced in 2017, recent inspections identified deterioration and trip-and-fall hazards that warrant replacement. Due to age, wear, and continuous operational use, the flooring at all three stations is in poor condition and requires replacement to maintain a safe and functional environment for fire personnel.
