2. SUMMARY
Funding for the Tobacco Grant Program is being provided in the amount of $194,868 to support law enforcement programs that enforce state and local laws related to the illegal sales and marketing of tobacco, including e-cigarettes, to minors.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

1. Approve the agreement with the State of California Department of Justice in the amount of $194,868 for the Tobacco Grant Program, and authorize the City Manager to execute on behalf of the City.
2. Approve Resolution No. 11314. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange accepting funds in the amount of $194,868 from the State of California Department of Justice, Office of Attorney General, Tobacco Law Enforcement Grant Program, and authorizing the Chief of Police or City Manager to execute the grant program Memorandum of Understanding and related documents.
3. Accept into the City's revenue budget $194,868 in grant funds from the State of California Department of Justice into revenue account number 100.4033.45495.30171 Tobacco Grant.
4. Authorize the appropriation of $194,868 into the following expenditure accounts:
$191, 868 into 100.4033.50221.30171, Overtime Safety - Tobacco Grant
$3,000 into 100.4033.53060.30171, Miscellaneous Materials - Tobacco Grant

4. FISCAL IMPACT
The total appropriations for this grant are funded by the additional revenue received from the State of California, Department of Justice.
