2. SUMMARY
The eligible joint allocation amount awarded to the County of Orange is $365,643, of which $13,006 is allocated to the City of Orange. The County of Orange is requesting approval of an agreement that allocates the City's 2020 program funds as follows: $1,300.60 for grant administrative fees, $351.16 for the National Incident-Based Reporting System, and $11,354.24 retained by the City.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

1. Approve the agreement with the County of Orange in the amount of $11,354.24 for the 2020 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program and authorize the City Manager to execute on behalf of the City.
2. Accept into the City's revenue budget $11,354.24 in grant funds from the County of Orange, into revenue account number 353.4011.45150.30173, Federal Grants - JAG 2020.
3. Authorize the appropriation of $11,354.24 into expenditure account number 353.4011.55131.30173, Equipment - JAG 2020.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program is the primary provider of federal criminal justice funding to states and units of local government. In September 2020, the U.S. Department of Justice approved the application for funding under the 2020 Edward Byrne Memorial JAG Program.
