3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the second amendment to contract with Alfaro Communications Construction, Inc. in the amount of $45,000 for extra work; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
On January 8, 2019, City Council awarded the Tustin Street at Meats Avenue Right Turn Lane Improvements project to Alfaro Communications Construction, Inc. (ACCI). The scope of work for the project was to construct a right-turn lane for the northbound direction at the intersection of Tustin Street and Meats Avenue.
