The City currently has an agreement with CSG Consultants, Inc. to provide building inspection services in order to meet the demand for inspection services. The proposed First Amendment will increase the not-to-exceed amount by $30,000, to a total amount not-to-exceed $60,000.

4. Fiscal Impact
The total expenditure for this amendment is $30,000, for a total agreement cost of $60,000, and will be funded through General Fund (100).

6. Discussion and Background
In May 2021, the City executed an Agreement with CSG Consultants, Inc. (CSG) to provide building inspection services. Since the Agreement, CSG has been steadily providing building inspection services for the City to keep up with the influx of building construction projects coinciding with a decrease in available staff due to various reasons. This First Amendment authorizes an increase in contract amount of $30,000 to CSG’s Original Consultant Service Agreement. The Consultant’s total compensation under the Original Agreement, as amended by this First Amendment shall not exceed $60,000.
