3. RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the agreement with Avidex Industries, LLC in the amount of $38,681.51 for installation of audiovisual equipment in the El Modena Branch Library community room; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City.

4. FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact to the City. The additional revenue received from the Friends of the Orange Public Library and the Orange Public Library Foundation will fund the expense for this agreement. $38,681.51 will be funded through General Fund:

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
In 2018, the City executed an agreement with Digital Networks Group for the installation of audio-visual equipment in the Orange Public Library & History Center community room, funded by the Orange Public Library Foundation. Digital Networks Group has since been acquired by Avidex Industries, LLC. The Library has received service and maintenance on an as-needed basis from Avidex Industries, LLC in the past five years.
The El Modena Branch Library community room does not currently have the same capability to hold programs and meetings as the Orange Public Library & History Center community room because of obsolete and outdated equipment that are now nearing end of life. This agreement with ...
