Hi Dave,

It was a pleasure speaking with you today regarding the parking issue we are having on W. 
Angus Ave.

Our office is located at 731 W. Angus and our business hours are from 6AM-5PM, M-F. By the 
time a few of our employees arrive to work by 5:30AM, vehicles are already buzzing in and 
parking on the street is full. People park on the street and then walk to their place of 
employment on Batavia. By the time the rest of our employees arrive between 7:30-7:45AM 
there is absolutely nowhere on the street to park…I am mean nowhere. Our company has 
already expanded our driveway to accommodate parking for our employees and we have 
absolutely no more room for expansion.

One person said they worked for Tolly Landscaping located at 601 Batavia St. There are also a 
few auto repair shops that park vehicles on the street for weeks to months at a time. We have 
called the parking control department several times and will continue do so to prevent vehicles 
from being parked long term. 

Cars start rolling in on the street starting at 5AM and stay parked until 4-4:30PM, M-F. 

Is it possible to post a sign…“No Overnight Parking” or “No Parking between Midnight and 
8AM”? We only need 4-5 parking spaces.

I am hoping that the City of Orange is able to come up with some resolution regarding this 
issue. It’s bad enough that we have to continually call the parking control department on 
vehicles that are parked weeks to months at time from all the auto repair companies in the area.
