4. FISCAL IMPACT
The total expenditure for the project is $200 and will be funded in Minor Traffic Control Devices (16302) through Traffic Improvement Measure M2 (263).

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
A resident is requesting red curb markings to be painted on the west side of the driveway on Palm Avenue that serves his home at 293 N. Citrus St. The reason for the request is to provide enhanced sight distance when backing out of his driveway onto Palm Ave.
Existing Conditions
Palm Ave. is classified as a Collector street with one travel lane in each direction, a yellow painted centerline, a curb-to-curb width of 40 feet, and an average daily traffic volume of approximately 3,400 vehicles. The subject address is located on the southwest corner of Palm Ave. and Citrus Street. The posted speed limit on this section of Palm Ave. is 25 MPH. The intersection of Citrus St. and Palm Ave. is located approximately 100' west of Batavia St.
